We had a wonderful stay. The hosts are amazing and made wonderful recommendations on things to do and places to eat. Even volunteered to make reservations for us. The house is beautiful, modern, but also cozy. It’s large so if you have a big group you can spread out easily. There is a nice deck area and fire pit set up, too! It was beautiful to watch the snow fall while cozied up to the gas fireplace. The master suite is stunning. Clean, crisp sheets and bedding, spotless master bath, and a closet to hide away all your luggage and hang up your clothes. My pants and socks got damp out in the snow at the Christmas market, and the in house washer and dryer allowed me to dry my pants before going to dinner. The kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast and heat up leftovers. The coffee bar area is adorable, and we got a lot of use out of it. The house is very clean, well decorated, and safe and secure. We used the august app for entry for the first time without any issues. Knowing I could lock and unlock from my phone made me feel safe. We saw several deer on the property which just added to our magical winter weekend. The wooded lot provides a lot of privacy. The house is in a great location, so walking(when it’s a little warmer out), to the water would be super easy, even to Wilson’s for a sundae! We really enjoyed our stay, and we look forward to coming back again in the summer!

Ephraim house is the perfect get away! The house is impeccably finished. Clean. A perfect modern cozy. The house is right by where you want to be when you visit door county. We can not wait to go back!!

Erin and John were unbelievably gracious hosts. You can tell they truly care about their guests and want to provide the best experience possible. Their home in Ephraim is stunning. The house provides Al everything you could possibly want…from location, cleanliness, amenities.

We delight in having stayed in this beautiful spacious home. It is so welcoming and comfortable. The hosts went out of our way to assist us with our discovery of the area. Clearly well versed in the history and offerings of Door County. We really appreciated their recommendations for evening dining. Alexander’s was excellent. The House being nestled in this tranquil setting affords an opportunity to relax, yet is conveniently located to all the offerings of Ephraim and all of Door County for that matter. An ideal place for friends or families to share and make lasting memories. The Ephraim House is our new favorite place for our family to gather. We will be back!

The Ephraim House was absolutely wonderful. My brothers and sisters and their spouses, a party of five couples stayed in roomy comfort and luxury. The home is quite new and immaculately clean. Everything in the photos and promised amenities were spot on. We had an outstanding stay and would not hesitate to return. Erin was a marvelous host with an eagerness and willingness to help. Every question or concern I sent Erin was answered within 3-5 minutes. Secluded and private in a beautiful wooded setting I give the Ephraim House my absolute highest recommendation. We cannot say enough amazing things about our stay at the Ephraim House (still trying to rewind time to go back)! Erin was more than accommodating in helping us book the stay, navigating the beautiful home, and providing awesome suggestions on sites to see, entertainment, and all things food/drink. Oh my! Where to start! Such a lovely property and very well maintained. Host Erin was very communicative with a quick response when we had questions. Check in and out were easy. The kitchen is a dream to cook in. The kiddos loved the bunk room. Wished it were a bit warmer to enjoy the outdoor firepit. Bedding was comfortable. A wonderful stay and we would be back again!

We enjoyed the board games, great meals as each family took a turn, plenty of cookware and refrigerator space. Kids 10 and under played downstairs where large bean bags were the main attraction along with video games. We were all delighted with the home. Sledding at Peninsula State Park was so much fun for all. Loved the garage!

We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation at The Ephraim House. The owners helped us before we even arrived by giving us suggestions of where we explore during our stay. We had 3 families and had ample space to spread out. When we arrived we were taken care of completely! The house was immaculately clean and stocked with anything you could imagine. We really enjoyed staying at the Ephraim House. The house is incredible and Erin and John are wonderful hosts. You can't beat the location. You can easily walk to downtown Ephraim and enjoy the restaurants and Wilson's ice cream. The neighborhood is quiet and relaxing. We took advantage of the bikes that are available at the house, and we especially enjoyed the new fire table on the deck. The kitchen has everything you could need. Looking forward to staying here again in the future.

The Ephraim House is beautiful as well as impeccably clean. It is evident that John and Erin gave much thought into planning a perfect vacation home for others to enjoy. Erin is a 5 star host, was always available to answer concerns and questions. Her responses were usually immediate. During our stay she continued to inform us of special events happening in the village of Ephraim that we may not have been aware of. Erin made every effort to help us have a very memorable Door County experience.

The open-concept living area is spacious, inviting and comfortable. Our group of 13 had ample room to gather for meals, to visit and even complete a few puzzles on the extra large dining table!

The kitchen is outfitted with everything you could possibly need or want. Dinnerware and glassware is abundant. We even found insulated tumblers that came in handy while enjoying the fire pit in the evening. (We were grateful for the generous supply of fire wood too!) The large beverage frig under the island is a nice bonus! The walk-in pantry has many small kitchen appliances and there was space for all our shelf-stable food purchases.

The lower level is a great kid-friendly space. The bunk room was definitely a hit with the little ones and the additional gathering space was ideal for playing or watching movies. For those traveling with babies or toddlers, Erin and John have you covered. There are 2 high chairs and 3 port-a-cribs. We used a high chair and a crib thus grateful that we didn’t need to bring them from home.

Our vacation was perfect and yours can be too! I highly recommend The Ephraim House!

We had a delightful time staying at the Ephraim House. It is as beautiful as it looks in the pictures online. Everything is brand new and the hosts have considered everything to make our visit feel like home. They made the check in process absolutely seamless and answered every question we had immediately. It is hard to imagine better hosts!

The house itself is nestled in the woods and very quiet but is also just a very short walk from Ephraim beach and from the town. It has everything needed to enjoy the lake and Door County -- a kayak, paddleboards, bikes, and a beautiful fire pit right outside. We loved our time and hope to stay again next summer!

Erin is the best VRBO hostess that we have ever had!!! The home is so beautiful and perfect for families. Communication with Erin was easy and our stay was perfect. We absolutely LOVED it.

We stayed at the Ephraim House for four nights and it was just terrific!! The house itself is gorgeous, the property is private yet very convenient to the main parts of Ephraim. Within walking distance of Wilson’s, the beach, etc!

Everything is high end and Erin the host is so great! I can’t say enough about the rental property or her!

The attention to detail and preparation of thinking through any and all needs that these property owners took is remarkable! The kitchen is well equipped with a fabulous stove! We used the grill to make steaks and that was wonderful. Also the fire table and additional fire pit both make the experience wonderful.

We had 7 people (grandparents down to a 3 year old) and there was more than enough space for all. This is the perfect home for entertaining! My in-laws and mom all loved the property. In addition to the deck, there is a front porch with chairs to enjoy your morning coffee!

There were outdoor toys available (large scale checkers, bean bag boards, etc) and a wagon available to use which my kids loved!

We had a wonderful time and you cannot go wrong renting this property. It was absolutely wonderful and we hope to return soon!

What can we say: Erin was essentially the perfect 24/7 concierge giving us wonderful insight to the property and all that Door County has to offer. Her home is beautiful, well appointed and was the perfect setting for our family to come together and wind down.

We will DEFINITELY be staying here again!!!

Wow! My last minute birthday celebration was unforgettable because Erin and John's home, hospitality, warm welcome, and helpful Door County recommendations were amazing. The home is the perfect place for family and friends to gather and enjoy the magic of time together. The house looks brand new, the beds were very comfortable, the entertainment options and tvs were easy to figure out and use. The kitchen is gourmet and fitted out with everything you need. Easy central location and my favorite thing was the privacy of being surrounded by beautiful forest of trees. Definitely going back and highly recommend to anyone wanting a first class, premier, concierge-feeling experience!

Erin & John’s beautiful home was the perfect spot for our girls weekend! The house was extremely clean and every detail was beautiful. They even suggested things for us to do during our stay! We cannot wait to come up again next year!

The house is gorgeous, comfortable and spacious. The pictures don't lie! Our party included 8 adults and 7 children, ages 1 to 10. We did not feel crammed at all. The kids really loved the bunk beds! And it was well stocked with every imaginable appliance, dish, pot & pan, utensils, etc. We even had a chance to use a couple of the bikes that were available in the garage. Plenty of high chairs & pack-n-plays. I could go on!

The location is perfect. Within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and the harbor.

Erin was a great host. When I mentioned there was no child gate for the top of the stairs she told me to pick one up at the local store and she would reimburse me, which she did!

We would definitely stay here again!

This lovely home was the perfect setting to reconnect with friends and family. A quiet setting with easy access to all the action. The home is spacious with many wonderful amenities. Highly recommend.

Erin and John are the kindest, most responsive, owners dedicated to your stay while at The Ephraim house. They were so thoughtful and kind and so informative. Quick to answer questions. The house was definitely built with love and every single detail was thought out! Although October was too chilly to enjoy the bikes and kayaks, they were available as well as yard games....truly so giving with what they have in home. Chargers in each room, a charging station for all kinds of devises, tons of dinnerware. We ate all meals and fed 14 people for 3 days and had everything needed. Space was so very well planned out so everyone has area to relax yet enjoy privacy. It really was a perfect stay and so close to wonderful attractions and very easy to access. I will be back to stay. There should be absolutely no hesitation in booking this property!!

The Ephraim House will live in our hearts as the most perfect place to celebrate our intimate micro wedding week in Door County! We were a group of 15 including our teen and adult children (including adult significant others) and our parents. The house is new, sparkling clean, and has many extra features including a fully stocked gourmet kitchen for entertaining, fire pit, hot tub, fire table on the spacious deck, and luxurious living quarters. The great room and family room were very flexible and accommodated our group at all times of the day. The interior decor and beautiful light within the house is extraordinary. Nestled just a few blocks from the Ephraim waterfront, our group could bike or walk to the shops and beach with ease yet the house was very quiet at night. The stars were bright sitting out by the bon fire in the beautiful Adirondack chairs while we sipped hot apple cider and shared many stories.

Erin and John were very easy to reach out to and Erin assisted with any questions we had while coordinating our special day. She checked in to make sure we had everything we needed and provided all the directions necessary to ensure our stay went seamlessly.

Our family will remember The Ephraim House fondly and we hope to plan return with our family. Many thanks to Erin and John!

Seriously, look no further. Erin is an incredible host. The place is absolutely stunning and a great location to enjoy all the door county has to offer!! I even left a shoe that she found and is willing to ship it home to me. She is exceptional at communication and goes above and beyond.

We had 5 couples stay at the house for a great 3 day weekend. The same group has been coming to Door County in January to celebrate my wife's birthday for over 20 years. Everyone in our group loved the Ephraim House! Everything was so clean and furnished nicely. The kitchen was extra nice and everyone loved the large gas fireplace on the cold January nights. Good location and close to restaurants and shopping. We are hoping to return to Ephraim House in the future. 5 stars.

This was our second stay as a family at the Ephraim House and it was as good as the first time. The house is spectacular and located a short walk or bike from the Ephraim waterfront. It is spacious, new, and well kept with lots of activities. The hosts are incredible -- very responsive and have great advice for taking advantage of time in Door County. Strong recommend -- it is an extraordinary place.

The house was more than comfortable. The location is tucked away yet a close walk to the water and shops. Great location for family get together.

Amazing newer property within walking distance of Ephraim! Host was very responsive and left a birthday card and bottle of local wine for us! We used the kayak and paddle boards, and a couple of the bikes too. We also saw the two cute resident fauns munching in the prairie next to the house! Would stay again!!

From booking to checkout, this was the best stay since we started using Airbnb over a year ago. They were super friendly, responsive, and accommodating. Our stay at the Ephraim house was excellent. We had 7 kids and 6 adults and it fit us all perfectly. The location was centrally located and walkable. The hot tub was a great amenity as well. Erin and John were fantastic communicators and hosts. Highly recommend!

Our guests were very happy with their accommodations as well. Highlights are the location - Ephraim is close to everywhere, the hot tub and outdoor firepit and the massive common room which was great for our large group to hang out in. Wow - the Ephraim House was incredible. Anything and everything we needed was there at the ready! Erin and John were extremely communicative and I knew they would be there for any concern we had. Luckily, we had none, except for low batteries on the gas fireplace controller which Erin directed me to the huge battery storage container(incredible) and they were easily replaced. Erin would send little shoutouts about the meteor shower going on and would ask if we needed any recommendations for restaurants. She is a wonderful and kind person. The house was phenomenal and we enjoyed the large clean hot tub, the well appointed gourmet kitchen and a pantry that had every type of appliance ever needed! The knives were sharp and there was plenty of silverware and plates. The decor was beautiful and the bedrooms were very cozy. Loved every second of our long weekend and will for sure be back again. Highly recommend!!

What a beautiful home! They had it all! No need to worry if you forgot anything, they’ll likely have it. The home was so clean and organized. Perfect for a weekend away to relax and unwind. Erin was beyond wonderful as a host- she communicated and checked in as well as giving us so many recommendations. We WILL be back!

Had a group of ladies who all agreed this is the best rental any of us have stayed in! The house is absolutely beautiful and John and Erin were beyond accommodating and so responsive to any questions. The house has everything you need and more! We loved walking to breakfast places in the morning and having the privacy of the property in the evening. John and Erin recommended an in-home wine tasting with “The Day Sipper” that was perfect for us! Would not hesitate staying here again, was a truly wonderful experience!

We loved staying at this beautiful home. Which is beautifully appointed, clean and extremely comfortable. The layout of the home allowed for kid fun downstairs. The hot tub was perfect for all to enjoy along with the fire pit and ample wood provided. We are thankful for the memories made at the Ephiram house.

I booked this stay a year ago, looking to plan a trip that is an annual tradition for family. My adult children have recently married in the last 5 years to this year we were sharing our trip with extended family so having a larger location was important. Ephraim House exceeded my expectations in every way possible. The location is walking distance to everything in Ephraim, yet when you walk out any door you are in such quiet nature you barely know there are neighbors nearby. We enjoyed beautiful mornings on the front patio, lively dinners with family on the deck, music and treats by the campfire, and luxurious soaks after all of Door County's outdoor offerings at night. Erin was the perfect host from the point of reservation, all through our stay and beyond. The cleanliness and amenities she offers as a host cannot compare to any rental we've taken in the years we've been coming to DoCo. If you are interested in making magical memories and having the time of your life this is the property to select every single visit. I know we will!

The Ephraim House was everything we hoped it would be for our family vacation and more! It was clean, modern, comfortable, and had so many amenities that we were able to enjoy! The location was perfect! It was just a short .5 mile walk to the Ephraim public beach, which is beautiful! Also an easy walk to downtown Ephraim to enjoy restaurants & shopping. We loved using the paddle boards & kayak down at the beach. Our family enjoyed nightly hot tub sessions to unwind after a day of activity, and roasting marshmallows & making s'mores around the fire pit. I was extremely impressed with Erin, the homeowner. She was quick to respond, extremely kind, helpful and accommodating. I was also so impressed with how well stocked the house was.....they thought of every detail and it made packing/traveling easy and stress free! I would highly recommend this home for your Door County Vacation! We hope to stay here again.

I had the privilege to stay in this beautiful home in August 2023. I can say with the upmost authority that the pictures do not lie. This is a gorgeous new build and is well cared for. I specifically was seeking a property with a hot tub for some arthritic relief. This was perhaps the best hot tub I have ever experienced. It was so fantastic that I will be contacting the owners to inquire about the make and model for my own home. What a bonus to have this offered during my stay. I definitely took notes on some fantastic features this home had to offer for my build someday. A great pantry, excellent master bathroom facilities with an outstanding walk-in closet/dressing area. A gorgeous stone fireplace with simple toggle button. I never knew if I could handle an open concept, kitchen, dining, and living area, but this home made a believer out of me. Stunning! Location, location, location! I particularly loved feeling that I was in the middle of a remote woods, but knowing that I was only two blocks (probably less) down a hill, and I was on highway 42. The absolute best thing about this property was the owners. When they say they will provide concierge services, they are not lying. Erin was not only a delight, but an absolute fountain of knowledge. I so appreciated her attentiveness to my questions and suggestions for things to do. Hands-down, the best owners I have ever worked with, and I have worked with some really great ones. I will definitely be back. 5 stars!

This is our 6th year finishing our summer in Door County with our kids, but first on the west side and first with our extended family. We were impressed from the beginning. Erin was communicating with us before the trip, giving us recommendations for activities during, and making sure we had everything we needed. I know the property is on the pricier side, but I will say the quality of the house, accommodations given, as well as the wonderful location, well justify it. If you have children the bunk room was well worth it. And Moms and Dads were able to sneak out into the hot tub as well! Memories formed for our children, fun times around the fire with our family, we will definitely be back.

Just WOW! We stayed here for a family wedding weekend and we could not have asked for a better place! The home is beautiful and the hosts are more than you could ask for. We were checked in on via message a few times making sure there was nothing we could need and we were able to have a late checkout which gave us just a few more hours to recover after a great wedding! Can’t wait to come back!

Our group enjoyed a Friendsgiving getaway at this property and had a fantastic time. Everything is exactly as described and Erin was incredibly responsive and communicative. Her instructions on how to access the property were detailed and clear. She even offered to ship a pair of pants that our friend’s son left behind. The house is very comfortable and the kids had a blast in the hot tub and roasting marshmallows at the fire pit. Highly recommend!

This was a great home for our family who were in town for a baby shower. We enjoyed a family dinner prepared by a private chef and the kitchen/dining room were perfect, with everything we needed! We loved the location of the home - close to 42 but surrounded by trees, giving us privacy and quiet. It rained a bit, but we were able to enjoy the fire table on the deck one night.
